ANOTHER EPIC THANKSGIVING IS UNDERWAY FOR 2013!
Last Thanksgiving The Schooner Restaurant and Lounge raised over $3,000 for the Tillamook Food Bank from donations by our customers. If you don’t feel like cooking on Thanksgiving then please allow us the honors. We simply provide the best Thanksgiving meal you have ever had and it is all strictly donation based. We are asking our customers to open their wallets this holiday season and help us meet our goal of over $4,000.
Donations of canned goods are great but when the food bank receives money they are in a unique position allowing them to buy large volumes of food at low costs giving them a broader reach. In addition, our kitchen will be open to people seeking a hot meal on Thanksgiving Day 12pm-6pm. Deliveries will be available for people without transportation. Transportation will be provided for people who would like to dine in. Please help make this event special.
(Catered Thanksgiving meals are also available)
-Tom Flood and The Schooner Crew
The Schooner Restaurant on Netarts Bay has been established for over 60 years, and 8 years ago the business changed hands to be owned and operated by Barry Boring, Tom Flood, Sr. and Tom Flood, Jr.
The summer of 2009 began the impressive remodel project to change the face of The Schooner.
The finished expansion consists of a large deck/outdoor seating area, outdoor mesquite grill, and wind powered turbines to generate power to reduce the reliance on traditional energy supplies and ultimately reduce our carbon footprint. We are making powerful strides towards a more sustainable business in our community by buying local ingredients from our farmers and dorymen. We are constantly searching more effective means of providing for our customers needs while maintaining sustainability.
Come in and enjoy our wild caught seafood, Netarts Bay oysters, choice cut steaks, wood fired gourmet pizzas, house-infused liquors, and live bands on one of the most beautiful bays in the Pacific Northwest!
